Hi Everyone,

I'm Barbara, and I'm very interested in herbal medicine and aromatherapy, as

well as dreamwork, Reiki, gemstones, and other healing modalities. I live

in Connecticut with a an adorable Pomeranian puppy, named Lily, and have a

small business making gemstone jewelry. I'm looking forward to this group!

I'm currently trying to find some essential oil of Sweetgrass, which is most

commonly used as a smudge by Native Americans. I'm allergic to smoke, so

was fascinated by finding some Sweetgrass lotion at Schemituzun (Festival of

Green Corn and Dance), an Indian Rendezvous put on by Foxwoods Casino in

Connecticut, last September, then recently finding Sweetgrass soap at a local

orchard store. I figure if there's Sweetgrass lotion and soap, there must be

essential oil available, right? Makes sense? It smells soooo good! It's used

in the smudge to bring in positive energy to replace the negative energy that

is chased off by Sage. And I definitely find the lotion is uplifting when I

use it. I'd like the oil to use in my aromatherapy diffuser, and experiment

with combining it with other mood elevators.

Love & Light, Barbara

That perches in the soul,

And sings the tune without the words,

And never stops at all... " --Emily Dickinson
