Guest guest
I thought i'd bring this up. my daughter is in the Air Force and it is mandatory they not use any product with hemp oil. I had made a soap and body oil and she could not take it. if this is found in a dorm it is a big no no. I am not sure why, I've never heard of anyone testing positive for cannibis unless they actually used it but there are some areas it is forbidden. I'll ask her next time we speak if that has changed or if ua's have come back problematic. She's in south korea and i know she has to be careful of what products she uses. evie
Guest guest
Dear Evie, The anti-hemp brainwashing of organizations has been remarkably effective. Hemp is one of Gaia's greatest gifts to humanity. Your founding fathers knew that. If it were allowed to reach its full potential, it would interfere with vested interests in cotton, oil, lumber, medicine, and organized crime.... Guest guest
I agree absolutely. I run the risk of driving the digesters crazy but I have to participate today, if nothing else but to save my sanity. I was disappointed because I like the efa's in the oil. I also like the things that plant can make in general and there are myriad uses for hemp. I also wish it were in its cousins arena, used more and researched more for medicinal qualities. It is a known fact that it lessens the pressure in the eyes of those who suffer from glaucoma. I don't know if you all know it, but there is an herb I found on ebay......25.00 , looks globulous and it is for smoking.....they flat out say its for smoking and relieves stress.....Bbudz i believe its called..I don't imagine it will be on there long, they do not mention what the plant is....I am going to ask for the heck of it.....just because I want to know..... my daughter made a hemp back pack i still have hanging in the hall. This was when they were banned in the U.S.. She simply made a net using more macrame techniques and can hold only large objects like books......you can see clearly thru this back pack and she did a beautiful job. each knot has either a bone filgree beed or a shell or a wooden bead and she came close to haveing that approved by the local school admin.....until one teacher got ticked that she went to the superiors who were clearly amazed by what she had done.....and they said 'yes, this is very nice' and I wanted her to patent it. We never got that done but suffice it to say ego's got in the way and in a day's time it went from 'that is a stellar job there kasey' to 'sorry, no back packs means no back packs'.....same with hemp oil...... one would think with all of the testing our military has done with their own 'x files' of substances, that hemp would be given the ok.......not so. I find it to be of extreme value for skin and skin/scalp conditions and who knows what else from there......hemp jewelry is still selling like crazy , sandals, etc......its an invaluable plant and one that virtually every part of the plant can be used and it can also be sown and havested thus creating more jobs and alternatives to many things.....i believe the fact that none of the plant need be wasted, the perfect green product and means to set about a change in rebalancing the earth . Every thing we need is on this planet , much we've killed off for good. Now is the time for soaps, lotions, clothing, dwellings and all the envelope these things to be utilized thus cutting of other areas of addiction to products that are imported from countries that are not so honorable in how the manufacture and process what we need and buy from them. I can't afford hemp very often. It seems if you have it listed in your product you can autmatically bump up the price and I had hoped the exact opposite would happen but someone one has to profit in dire times don't they? if we cant change the general 'thinking' of the masses then we can't really affect as big a change we need and that is sad. i think i'll buy myself a little hemp and indulge....i'm formulating an oil for those with raynauds and neuralgia looking for good oils to use as carriers for the ingredients i wish to use...hemp is in the top 4 . it just occured to me.....since the general hemp we are speaking of is legal....and the other we know has scientific evidence of helping medicinally.......I wonder what the oil of cannibus it self would do in conjunction with arnica, st.johns wort and plantain? I had in mind Gulf War Syndrome.....oh, and yucca...definately yucca, another plant that can virtually used from root to pod......edible, anti inflammatory, great for arthritis , skin and hair, it also has fibers that can be used to sew with........ off to do some research.....i'll let you know if they are still as stringent about that....as of last year it was a huge no and if in basic training could get your whole platoon in a heap of trouble thereby making you also in trouble with your peers. e --- On Mon, 12/29/08, Ieneke van Houten <ienvan wrote: Ieneke van Houten <ienvan Re: hemp and the military Monday, December 29, 2008, 1:33 AM Dear Evie, The anti-hemp brainwashing of organizations has been remarkably effective. Guest guest
thats the 'other' hemp. the illegal one. it is used to reduce the pressure in the eyes due to glaucoma, you should be able to do a search on that. sorry digestors, still don't have my computer back yet. --- On Mon, 12/29/08, Stargazer <Stargazer wrote: Stargazer <Stargazer Re: hemp and the military Monday, December 29, 2008, 2:24 AM How is hemp oil used for glaucoma? ~Amber <<....
