Guest guest
That explanation is not only one of the most eloquent responses to a subject, but addressed so that we can all understand the concept. thanks for your service btw. I come from a long line of those who served/serve. My grandfather lied about his age, got into the last of ww1, served ww2 and korea and retired as Lt. Col. I am very proud of his record . My dad was army air corp and my daughter and son in law are both combat meteorlogists. One is over Seas and the other soon to go. I also appreciate the manner in which you shared what you thought of your troops and as a mother of military young people, it is my wish they have a Commander such as yourself to serve. I indeed appreciated the options you gave your troop if in a bind...my husband for the first time I've read anything from this board or soapers boards took notice and said 'who wrote that?' and I told him so now his daily dose of macho and ethics are now turning his opinion on this biz and the integrity there of. I forwarded your email to my daughter. She will appreciate it. She serves with complete honor and dignity and doesn't tolerate much tho she does also have options of her own given her rank.....as she rises and I know she will, I think this will be a good reference now and again when it comes to dealing with troops in general and she does love to teach the 'why's. My husband is a viet nam vet tho he didn't not go to nam and volunteered.......????? he still served and served well in Europe. thus far the chain of generations of my daughters family goes unbroken when it comes to service to country. I believe we are honored to have you as a member of our board. I am humbled thats for sure! Evie
