The sought out active ingredient in the Origanum's is Carvacrol ..

they all have it .. so pay no attention to the ads on the Net made by

those who claim that only Mountain Grown Turkish Origanum vulgare is

effective .. that is total Hawg Warsh. The one who kicked off all of

that misinformation was ex-Dr. Cass Igram from North American Herb &

Spice .. a company that has lately been fined millions of bucks for

false advertisting. I am sure the courts were not even aware that

he sold little O. vulgare in the first place .. most of it was O.

dubium Carvacrol. There is not enough O. vulgare on the market to

supply even 25% of those claiming to only sell that type .. and the

fact that they make such claims shows their ignorance of both the

market and the therapeutic value of the oil.

Oh yea .. its not really Mountain Grown .. Folgers Coffee is. ;-)

Alexander turns 3 in March and two weeks ago was the very first bad

cold he had ever got .. it lasted two days .. the second morning his

temperature was above 104 .. that evening it was 98.6 and the cold

was history. The night before I had him sniffing Oregano EO on a

cloth and that night I diffused some in the room.

Will the vapors of Oregano kick all Big Bad Bug Butts? Nope .. just

most of them.

And to you and yours.

Terrific!  I received a cool humidifier to be used WITH essential oils in the

water itself and it changes to all seven colors and you can set a pulsar with

it....the wee one here looks like she's a bit sniffly.....I believe I'll try

that!  This holds about a gallon of water, should I choose to use it, about how

much should I put in the water? I'm guessing we will go by mils?

Also, my daughter bought the vicks diffuser you plug into the outlet, can eo's

be used on those pads if they are 2d42 drier?  (sorry, i have a teeny tiny

typist helping me and I cannot say no to her LOL....Moy (me) has her stacking

soaps and trying to say herbs, I have some hanging she can't get to , might as

well start her young like I did her mommy!

thanks.
