Guest guest
I would definitely will switch her to raw food. The best book to read on this is " Raising Cats Naturally " by Michelle T. Bernard. The raw cat's recipe from this book contains few capsules of salmon oil (omega-3) as well as kelp and dulse (sea vegetables) and some other supplements. I feed my 2 cats raw chicken with ground bone - the recipe from this book - and they love it! I hope this will help. Jenya

Guest guest
I currently can't find my copy of this book (too many piles of books and no time to sort through them this week). Do you happen to know what it says to do for itchy skin for cats? I originally thought it was fleas and treated for that but while the fleas have been gone for a while the itchy skin is actually worse. I think she may have developed a nervous itching/licking habit of some sort that now has made her skin dry and overly sensitive. I am giving her oatmeal baths to soothe the skin and it is helping but it's definitely not her favorite remedy lol. In case it matters she is part Siamese and they are known for these types of issues so I have a feeling I will need some sort of long term treatment. Any suggestions?
