Guest guest
I.m assuming you don't want to go to the expense of buying a home humidifier, and I can't say I blame you. Some ideas: If you have a crock pot, fill it with water and put it on low. Or use a hot plate with a pan of water on it. In either case take care not to let them run dry! If you have a wood stove or some type of radiant heater, you could try placing a pan of water on top of that. Any other ideas? Guest guest
I used to make a hard candy for my baby sister. I didn't know how to make candy and saw a lady simply take plain white Karo syrup and bring that to a boil on a low heat and when it 'threaded' poured it onto a buttered plate. Never used a thermometer. Later I learned how to flavor this with cinnamon or horehound (love horehound) but I wonder if you could do this and just before you finished added royal jelly that you added some honey with just before the threading. I'll bet you could do that. At least thats how I would do it. That way you wouldn't ruin the royal jelly and a bit of the lemon wouldnt really muck it up. Since you pour that onto a buttered plate it cools very quickly and then we would shatter it once hardened. Worth a try. Evie
Guest guest
just got this off another site last week. it isn't drops but you might want to look at it. Homemade Cough Medicine for that horrible cough that you just can't get rid of 1/4 t cayenne pepper 1/4 t ground ginger 1 T honey 1 T apple cider vinegar 2 T water Mix ingredients. Take by the teaspoon as often as needed for cough. Do not give to infants under 12 months due to the honey , <heven_scent wrote: > > > can somone please help me with this i have truble with dry heat in the house in winter and i need a good honey lemon resipee for home made cough drops??? > > > > Messages in this topic (3) Reply (via web post) | Start a new topic > Messages | Files | Photos | Links | Database | Polls | Calendar > The information contained in these e-mails is not a substitute > for diagnosis and treatment by a qualified, licensed professional. > > Absolutely no forwarding or copying, in whole or in part, of any messages or postings to others outside the list without the express, written consent of every author of a message included in the forward or copy. > > To adjust your group settings (i.e. go no mail) see the following link: /join > MARKETPLACE > > -- ---------- > From kitchen basics to easy recipes - join the Group from Kraft Foods > > Change settings via the Web ( ID required) > Change settings via email: Switch delivery to Daily Digest | Switch format to Traditional > Visit Your Group | Terms of Use | Un Recent Activity > a.. 11New Members > Visit Your Group > > Special K Challenge > > Join others who > > are losing pounds. > > Find helpful tips > for Moderators > > on the > > Groups team blog. > > Group Charity > Be the Change > > A citizen movement > > to change the world > . > > >
