Guest guest
Thanks for ad day Chris. I'm posting this for Christina who's in charge of this think, it's the AT Sunconference that is generally held every year, although wasn't last year... ANYWAY, check out the following and also join the Sunconference list... I'll get the addy in a bit. **************************************************************** Hi Guys, It's been a while! I sure hope you're having a good year so far. I'm still in compulsive savings mode, and planning a big move. However, now is a good time to get together as a group. The Gardening, Thrifty Spending, & Urban Homesteading movements are in bloom all over the country, leaving herb and aromatherapy enthusiasts with a bunch of new opportunities. Let's have a weekend of it. Our weekends are fun! It's a great opportunity to learn from one- another. We have time to chat, activities to keep things moving, and issues to address. We include everyone's opinions and ideas, and discover new enthusiasm for AT, herbs, soaping, general crafts, gardening, and more. One of the unique factors in our weekends is the cost. We all donate the total cost of the group meeting, and so the price is kept to a manageable size. Everyone pays their own room and board, and hopefully the hotel pays for the air conditioning! Weekend: Friday Afternoon/Evening through Sunday Afternoon Dates: July 31st to August 2nd Location: Somewhere Hot in the Western US. Available by air, train, or bus. Cheap hotel rooms must be available. Possible Locations: Denver, Albuqerque, Tucson, San Antonio, Sacramento, and Las Vegas Tuscon seems to be cheapest, hands-down. Denver had the priciest rooms listed, and fewest discounted flights, but is central. Las Vegas wasn't all that cheap in the hotel area, but had cheaper flights from either side of the country. Sacramento has a great location, great prices on rooms, but isn't central to most. Same with San Antonio - getting there is expensive for West Coasters. 1. Please let me know if you can work with these dates. 2. Also, pick your top 2 destinations, and we'll take a vote. I'd like to hear back from everyone, so we can be as inclusive as possible in this. For those of you with your own business, you are encouraged to bring product to sell. Everyone is also encouraged to bring a flyer or business card, samples to share, etc. We have a lot to talk about, and I can't wait to see you all this year!
