Is this OT post spam? Am I being overly cranky (as opposed, I guess, to

being appropriately cranky)?

 

I'm noticing that, on a lot of I belong to, there is a

sudden surge of waaaaay off topic posts, every single one of which is

selling something. And I only discover this after I waste my time going

there looking for on-topic data, of which there is NONE.

 

If this sort of thing is allowed, could it be marked OT for " off-topic "

in the subject line?
