Guest guest
Howdy Kathleen, Real quick as I'm headed out, others can expand on this. All EO's will > say > to only use externally. To suggest to anyone to take it internally is > " practicing medicine " and against the law. > Thankee ma'am .. you are right on the money. ;-) > As to using it internally. I do this and I give it to my kids. I get a > spoon, fill it halfway with sugar, drop one or two drops of straight > (undiluted) Oregano on the sugar, cover up the Oregano with sugar, get a > glass of water and then I throw " the sugar shot " in the back of my throat > and Slug down the water as an immediate chaser. If I'm in a bad way, I will > do this a couple or three times a day. > In the list archive are some old posts .. like real old .. where I wrote on this. Answers to most questions folks have can be found in the list archive .. IF the person writing the post uses a subject line that can later be found .. using subject lines like " I Have a Question " and such make it impossible to later find the post .. and I recommend that when you answer someone who used such a subject that you change it to one that can later be found. To get to that Archive .. step by step: 1. Go to http://health./ 2. Click on Messages .. its in the column on the left. 3. That brings you to http://health./messages 4. Go the bottom center of the page .. you will see the Search block .. with the word " Advanced " .. click on Advanced. 5. Then type in the name of the writer (if you know it) or if not .. just type in the Subject, i.e., Oregano .. or put some words in the Message Body block .. use the noggin when doing this and if you don't find what you want the first time .. try again. If you want to get a fair amount of info on Oregano .. type my name in the Author block and Oregano in the Subject block. A few messages I will refer you to are: http://health./message/2210 http://health./message/37362 http://health./message/36167 http://health./message/34186 http://health./message/29390 http://health./message/28446 And I will qualify my previous statement on ingestion of EO by saying that though I will NEVER recommend this .. I am one who uses a lot of EO in foods ... in cooking and to spice up a good soup, etc. Nothing wrong with discussing culinary matters .. don't gotta be a chef .. or a medical doctor to do that. ;-) My son will not turn 3 years old till March .. but I have used a drop or two of Oregano EO in his soup .. he likes it. We also use Ginger, Fennel, Basil, Rosemary, Cumin, Lemon, Rose, Vanilla and many other oils in cooking ... plus grow most of them organically here on our little mini farm. I have allowed Alexander to sniff Oregano EO from a cotton ball .. and there was one occasion a month or so ago where he had a high fever in the morning .. caught a bug while playing with his cousins I reckon .. but after sniffing Oregano EO 2-3 times that day, by nightfall his temperature was normal. > Hope that helps > I bet it did .. but since you don't sell EO you have a easier path to making recommendations. Me and others who sell EO have to walk on eggs when discussing this subject. There are a lot of things I do that I can not recommend to others .. like my preference for a few fingers of Jack Daniels Black Tennessee Sour Mash when I am real tired. ;-) > will be back in three days. > Since I reckon you are going to Vegas .. have fun and hope you win. ;-) > Kathleen Petrides > Bead Hussy > http://www.BeadHussy.com <http://www.beadhussy.com/> > Y'all have a good one .. and keep smiling. :-) Butch ... http://www.AV-AT.com <http://www.av-at.com/>
