Guest guest
You would need a high concentration of e.o. to water; or you can just suggest to your friend to bring along an extra thick blanket to lay on the bed as a barrier, or a bed bug proof allergen mattress pad- this would personally make me more comfortable-and I'd still spray it with an e.o. mix! Lori - Penny Tuesday, February 24, 2009 10:14 AM [sPAM] Bed Bugs how to repel them - Any suggestions? Hi All, I was just asked by someone if there was a good EO that can be sprayed on the bedding to help prevent Bed bugs from biting them. To Explain, they are going on a Cruise and have heard nightmares that ships are infested with Bed Bugs and they don't want to bring any home nor do they want to get bit while on vacation. I read one suggestion on another website that says to spray Lavender EO mixed with water on the bedding. They also asked if a regular insect repellent might work - one made with EO's of course. Since I have no experience with Bed Bugs (except once at a hotel a few years back - 2 sleepless nights) And I didn't have any EO's with me to experiment - (Like I really wanted to - more like - I just wanted to go home but it was not an option). Anyway any help or suggestions that any of you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I know this couple would like to have a great cruise instead of worrying about bed bugs!
