Guest guest
OOps... What I meant is that e.oils alone don't work. They can't keep bugs from coming back. Even after exterminator's harsh sprays (and they treated the whole building twice) the bugs kept coming back through the cracks in the walls and windows. They stopped only after we put the fossil powder on the window sills and around the perimeter of the apartment. I am most fond of the fossil powder from bed-bug.net that had completely prevented bugs from entering. I remember now that we even had to get rid of the bed - it was impossible to get the larvae and bugs out of the bed cracks and hiding places such under the screws.. My son also bought a plastic dust-proof cover on the mattress, so the bugs that left inside the mattress had no chance to get out. , Rachel Markel <ramarkel wrote: > > > I found this website http://www.bed- bug.net/ and purchased spray and powder from them. Last summer after using these products my son's apartment stays clean of bugs. He is going to repeat this treatment in the spring and hopefully this will keep bugs away for the summer. The fossil powder prevents them from entering from outside. Forget about the essential oils - they don't work for this problem. > > Jenya > > Dear Jenya, I found it very ironic that you would make a statements that e.o.'s don't work for this problem. The brand that you referenced is formulated using the EPA's 25b list which includes ingredients which are exempt from regulation. Although they still have to be registered state by state. > > The last time I checked there were over 12+ essential oils on the 25b list. > > According to the company website: > > What are the active ingredients in Bug Patrol? > > 100% natural plant extracts of Euginia Carophylla, Mentha Piperita, > and Sodium Lauryl Sulphate from Coconut Extract. > > Based on the information above the active ingredients are clove leaf oil and peppermint oil mixed with soap and coconut to bind the ingredients. > > Be well, > Rachel Markel > Managing Partner > eoilco laboratories, llc. > www.eoilcolab.com >
