Does anyone know the diff. between Brewers yeast and Nutritional Yeast?

Hi Gina,

 

These two animals are very different.

 

Brewer's yeast is created in the brewing industry. It's nutty, and

naturally full of great B vitamins. Many vegetarians, like me, find a

way to work some in our daily diet. (When we remember.)

 

Nutritional yeast may also have B vitamins - if it's supplemented.

It's yellow and has a very distinct, nutty-but-cheesey taste. This is

the one used as a cheese substitute in many products for vegans. And

very good on popcorn. It's considered savory, and I've used it in

" creamy " soup recipes that are actually dairy free.
