Guest guest
Thank you Serra - being a soaper I just had to try the salt bar, but - like you - was amazed that there was no lather. And.... I have a water softener.....I think I'll take your advice and contact her. Evie M. In a message dated 4/21/2009 1:05:08 A.M. Guest guest
HI Evie, I've tried one a friend made and it did have a creamier lather it felt really nice on my skin, and I thought even tho it wasn't as bubbly as this lady's normal bar (hi Vickie) it was still plenty of lather, so contacting the soaper you got it from is a good idea. I'm a soaper too and I'd like to try making a salt bar but just haven't had a chance to do it myself. After this I'll definitely have to try it out--up here in North Central Wisconsin we have naturally soft water for the most part so it's not a bad place to try something like this out.
