Body Balm or Body Silk

Greetings,

I am looking to purchase if I can find it a what I call a body balm or

body silk unscented. I have found out balm is not the same to everyone.

What I call a balm is the texture of like Corn Huskers lotion. It's

kind of milky and more liquid than a lotion. Kind of like an aftershave

but a little more substance. It would be great for the summer time when

you don't want a lotion or cream. Just something to moisturize and

fragrance the body after a shower.

I have looked everywhere on the net and I can't seem to find anything

that fits this description. I really didn't want to make my own but I

guess I could. But I don't know what ingredients I would use.

Any ideas?

Thanks much

I can show you a quick one I do for myself. I make one every time I do a new

soap for myself.....gotta have my scents all matching!

I get hot as well and lotion doesn't cut it for me.

Jojoba, hydrovance and fractionated coconut oil with liquid silk. Thats it.

Scent it or not. You can play around with the amount of frac oil vs jojoba , I

chose those because they have a long shelf life , the hydrovance retains

moisture and I use this straight out of the shower and it is scented. I dont

need perfume and I release a fresh evenly distributed fragrance all day and

don't blast folks out of the room.....I cannot tolerate folks who drip in too

much cologne...and, if you showered and your hair is wet, you can rub the excess

off into your wet hair and blow dry and you are good to go!

I give my oils a shake..prolly dont need to, liquid silk is water soluable so I

think I just shake it to disperse it.

I have two right now that I love......one is a blend of lavender/vanilla eo with

neroli , 5x orange and a dash of chamo/neroli......talk about fresh! And no

mosquitos!

The second is patchouli fixative (just a few drops) amber resin, vanilla eo, and

that too keeps the bugs off of me....and I can add rose if I want to fem it up

and sandalwood as well....patch, sandalwood, amber resin, vanilla eo rocks...the

rose I have in this blend as well for nite use .

I dont perspire near as much and the frac oil and the hydrovance sink it and you

really do smell good all day. If you run hot, find some citrus or a scent you

like, add a little rosemary mint and instant cool....if you cannot use

rosemary/mint use the fo.
