Guest guest
I am getting ready to go out and spend some quality time with my chamomile patch. The mints are going to get a little snip as well as the anise hyssop so that I can start putting some tea blends together. I'm watching the wild oats carefully so I don't miss them, and just made a fresh batch of jewelweed vinegar. I'll bet I'm not the only one gathering herbs already. Guest guest
In Michigan, we have thyme, oregano, parsley, and chives doing beautifully. My mint (smells sooo good) has already been accosted by four-lined plant bugs, the bane of our gardening attempts. Afraid to even try basil again. Guest guest
Yes indeed Tina, some of the hyssop I have not snipped back is flowering already and I've already got some of that and some mints and sage drying. My sage is going nuts this year! It really liked this weird spring weather we have had in southern IL. On the other hand, my cilantro which usually grows like wildfire, is spindly and not thriving (??) this year.
