Guest guest Posted June 12, 2009 Report Share Posted June 12, 2009 Heartburn: Papaya Enzymes with Mint. I take 2 at the first sign of heartburn. Works like a charm. Bug Bites: Well, we've been bug bite free...let me tell you what we've done. We changed the comforter and pillow, which were the only pieces of bedding we hadn't changed before. Then I diffused some Peppermint EO in the bedroom for about 30-60 min each night (a few drops in a half cup of water). Then we sprayed him down with this Weleda spray, which is mainly citronela (but also some other things, like Neem oil) and aparently is not sold in the UK or the USA. So I can't find any information in English about it...but it said safe for the whole family... Anyways, we spray it on his shirt and kind of wipe it all over his shirt and so far, totally bug free. Tonight I'm going to not burn the peppermint eo for the first time, but we'll still spray. I'll let ya'all know how it goes. Thanks everyone for all of the thoughts and suggestions.
