I make one to match all my soaps and shampoos LOL....this was a blend of amber, patchouli , forget the other things but not a typical thing you would think would help and I'm the ONLY one who didn't get a bite from anything. I wonder if by using body oil every where that is scented with citrus and a touch of mint if that oil is not aiding in our natural carbon dioxide release that so enchants the pesky varmints. I've had success with that, I did one with a nice soft lemon, I did on with pepperberry and all of them worked so long as I covered all of me. I did a rub down before i got dressed , that in turn also scented my clothes and btw, whoever did that blend and posted it, fab job.....but there are ways. Old timers around here use sulphur in their rolled up cuffs in jeans....... peeeeeeeeyew! I wouldn't recommend that for a kid. I've also heard that downy sheets work so I'm thinking.... who says you have to smell bad to keep bugs off? I am keeping this recipe that was shared so thanks to the poster! If pregnant or if you THINK you might be, please do not use pennyroyal. Other mints will work. evie
