Guest guest
Howdy y'all, Back on line I am .. and lotsa mail I owe folks. I'll get to it as I can. :-) > Rivkah wrote: > Butch, I'm so sorry to hear about your mother in law. My thoughts > go out to your wife and her family. Actually, its not really a shame that he couldn't go because I would have objected to it in any case. Though its a big hassle to get into Russia, sometimes its a bigger hassle for foreigners on invitational visas to get out of Russia. Alexander and I did fine but we were both happy when Tanya returned .. the little rascal wore me out. ;-) > Anita Reeves wrote: > Butch, > Give our regards to Tanya in the loss of her mother. Thank you ma'am .. and done. > Re: your Mr. Mom chore. If you can handle the service, you can > handle this with ease*S*! We made it but considering the demands my little one made on me it might have been easier if back when I was a junior officer I had served as a general's aide. ;-) I also thank the folks who wrote me off line .. all the notes were greatly appreciated and I will write personally .. during the period Tanya was gone I was not allowed to get more than a few yards away from Alexander .. he had never been away from his mother and it was a lot for him to take so he kept a close eye on me .. and working on the PC was just not an option. ;-) I'll close this with a brief and perhaps negative note. It is my opinion that if Tanya's mother had been living in the U.S.A. she might not have died from cancer. The Russian National Health system is similar to all other National Health systems I have experienced in my world travels. Quality health care is provided for some and not for others .. retirees and the elderly are not a priority under the health systems that ration service based on your worth and their budget. Medical doctors don't make the decisions on who gets what treatment .. such decisions are made by groups of bureaucrats. I hope that folks in the U.S.A. don't have to face a similar situation in the future. Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
