Guest guest
>Which hydrosols are safe for cats? Which herbs too? I was reading the archives but didn't see a list that can be used safely for dogs and especially cats to repell and get rid of fleas. I want to use something topically and will also make up a spray to use on bedding. Thank you for suggestions and help. Laura Ann
Guest guest
Hydrosols and cats = No. Hydrosols contain small amounts of Essential Oils. Essential oils and cats are a big fat no no. Check out " TheLavenderCat.com " for reasons why. Hydrosols and dogs. I don't have a problem with most of them although I wouldn't use tea tree on dogs especially any spaniel of any type. Herbs like lavender and rosemary left under cushions and along floor boards will help to discourage fleas. BUT the problem is, if you have fleas, you have fleas laying eggs. I believe one flea can lay something like 150,000 eggs. Just an informercial.
