Guest guest
Parvo has nothing to do with a Tick bite. Don't let her put any other pups on ground outside where that pup may have been, it is hard to get out of the ground. Bleach will work on floors etc. God's Blessings~ Rachelle The pup dead of parvo pre the vet. This pup was in a litter of 10 an only the pup with the tick had parvo.????? This pup did not have any parvo symtoms. My friend is now burn stuff and bleaching the old play area. To be on the safe side. All her other dogs are fine I am very sorry for you lost. Thank you for your information Peace and Blessing Salma
Guest guest
I had a friend loose a puppy last year to parvo and it stays in the dirt for 'atleast' 6 months. Were the puppies vaccinated yet? Guest guest
parvo doesnt always hit them all at once so one pup might be the beginning. I raised a lot of dogs and cats and it seemed that once one puppy got sick and died it wasn't too long before the others would and it seemed it was a puppy at a time....heart breaking....I know that parvo hangs around as does mange and besides shots , bleach is all I know to do , wash hands etc....but it can be rampant and quick. The tick was probably just coincidence. I hope for the best for the pups who are left behind. I dont miss those days. always seemed to be the best looking litters or the cuttest. Just breaks your heart. evie
