Coriandrum sativum EO Question

Is Coriandrum Sativum EO derived from the coriander seeds or from (Cilantro) the

leaf??

Also, is it correct that Coriander is the name for the seed and Cilantro is the

leaf and Coriandrum sativum the actual latin plant name?

If there are two separate derivatives of this plant, what would the proper names

be for my research purposes?

 

Can one of the EO wizards here tell me? Marge, Chris, Butch (you are all my

gurus, lol)??
