Guest guest
I have been so busy gathering herbs that I forgot to introduce myself to the group. My name is Doris and I am 79 years old. I have been working with herbs for close to 35 years now and was very fortunate to have a friend from Kentucky whos Mother was what was know as a " Granny " woman. Sje was the one that the mountain folk went to when they were feeling " poorly " Besides wild crafting herbs and growing a few I make soap, salves, lotions and a few other things. I am well know in this area of NC for my Poison Ivy soap and salve. I infuse all of my own oils in big jats in the sun. I just happen to think the old way is the best LOL I still do a lot of research with herbs and read my herbs books and magazunes with a large magnifying glass and also receive bools on tape. What a wonderful reasource that is. I am happy to be on this group and even though I have my own herb group there is always something new to learn. Blessings to All> Doris Bearwallow Mountain Soap Hendersonville, NC
