Guest guest
I am curious did Alexander have the shots. ^The newborn shots??? In my family the kids are very healthy, but the ones who have the shots seem to look more frail, and pale for that matter, just in general not robust. The ones who do not have shots are the opposite. They are also the smartest, even as young as like 15 mo old. They go to a Homeopathic Dr. and a Chiropractor, then they are set. We also have the opposite beliefs in this family, one girl has had the Guardasil shot. How comforting when she begins reading about it. How does everyone feel about the swine Flu shot???? I admit it is scary. I have not made up my mind, but I do have my questions. sharon
Guest guest
I am not comfortable with the swine flu shot in any way, shape, or form!!! Hardly any testing, and immunity from lawsuits, seems very fishy to me...no swine flu shots for me or my family, they would have to take me kicking and screaming.... - kerley983 Monday, September 07, 2009 1:37 PM Children and Shots I am curious did Alexander have the shots. ^The newborn shots??? Guest guest
Man, I hit the jackpot today. So glad to see like minded people. My kids couldn't take the entire DPT shots. All three of them had to have wavers to go to school and it was a pain.... A friend of mine had a baby rated a perfect ten on apgar and after her first round of shots was literally rendered crippled. She was dragging herself at the age of three. My doctor told me the the purity of batches vary from batch to batch and reactions of any type of immunization shots also fall into this batch to batch element. I did have one child take a pneumonia shot. I am glad I did that. But my spouse who contracted polio after we were given live virus's in school (in our generation) reacts badly to flu shots yearly. Two years running it was mandatory he take those since he works ER......both years for six weeks he had on and off again fevers, the third year got the flu that turned into pneumonia and almost died had I not gotten him to ER. So I'm not convinced at all. I dont take them. With the amount of shots children are getting now days, much more than DPT, I'd think that the flu vaccine on top of these other shots might have a very negative reaction. That said...we had eradicated measles, mumps, chicken pox and tb and due to illegal immigration I know some cases showed up in Texas of measles, chicken pox and then drug resistant TB....since my husband was having to do a blood draw on such a person the person freaked out and moved and the needle ran thru my spouses double gloves and the pt. was active Hep C and TB so for a full year he had to take preventative medication...he then tested positive on the titer and can never take another TB test again. This is not a political statement by the way but is a good reason to treat sick kids not from this country because they will then play with the other kids as all kids are so perfect that way...not their fault and for TB to come back with such a vengeance is scary. So these flu shots I wonder about. What is the medium in which the culture is grown? Do they still use mercury of sorts? I used to take an OTC product in healthfood stores if I even thought I felt I might get ill and it was occillococium (sp) and I swear by it. As I do the homeopathic allergy liquids. I wont be taking my shot this year and If I get sick, I get sick and if I get better they say once you have swine flu you wont get it again....however..it COULD mutate into a stronger virus. People in my generation and older seem to have more of an immunity than the younger folks. I'm guessing because we've had swine flue or better H1N1 in our country before. Is there a standard way to quickly make a vaccine so that its consistant? What bout those allergic to eggs if it is egg incubated? Spouse will again take his shot and I will again take care of a sick guy so I'm loading up on free range chicken, herbal teas, lots of garlic and cayenne and hoping for the best. We are having positives for this now in our town so its here. I think kids on lots of immunizations also look pale and perhaps my kids did so much better than I did in school because they didn't have that many shots....me on the other hand apparently came from the generation of eating paint chips, playing with mercury and live vaccines. I dunno.....intellect tells you the strongest survive but when its someone you love that doesnt seem to really make any sense. evie
Guest guest
My children did get their shots because at that time I still trusted " the system " and didn't know what I know now. But it wasn't as many as they get now. It is getting ridiculous. They were country-raised on lots of good home-grown food and are sturdy adults. Th youngest just turned 30. My daughter choose not to immunize her son. So far, so good. But he is a city boy and more vulnerable than his mother. He seems to get quite a few colds and such. Guest guest
I hear that squalene (synthetic) is being used as an adjuvant for the swine flu shot, which is supposedly going to cause the vaccine to attack human squalene. I am not sure how true this is, but it is worth looking onto since now it is mandatory in NYS for all hospital health care workers to get the flu shot, and the H1N1 will be next...I am very concerned about all of this... - Selkie Wednesday, September 09, 2009 12:51 AM Re: Children and Shots Man, I hit the jackpot today. Guest guest
I am really wondering if it is legal for New York state to " force " hospital employees to get the flu shots, including H1N1 when available. I am quite disturbed to find out recently that I will lose my job if I do not comply. I would greatly appreciate any help with this disturbing issue. - Ieneke van Houten Wednesday, September 09, 2009 1:20 PM Re: Children and Shots My children did get their shots because at that time I still trusted " the system " and didn't know what I know now.
