Guest guest
Howdy Jay, Jan .. other good folks .. Hi Jan > R u sure u are using pure oregano essential oil? > I fill the nutella jar with honey and put two drops of > oregano, and you can def taste it. > > Jay > My guess is that Jan really means it is not harsh .. I expect she can taste it for sure. Might be an after taste she is getting if she takes it in water because it will bead up and not dilute .. so its possible that sometime it could be washed on down without lingering on the inside of the mouth .. or the tongue. I am not promoting the ingestion of Oregano .. but I can promise that if Oregano EO gets on the outer lips .. or on the nose .. you are gonna learn a new dance step. If you are used to accidently allowing it to hit the lips or nose you might just accept it and drive on. I can also promise that a newby who tries to ingest even a couple of drops of Oregano in a tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil .. MIGHT panic .. and hold their breath because they THINK they can't get their breath. If that should happen they should keep calm and breath through the nose and it will pass. ;-) Its sorta like drinking alcohol .. some folks can't do a straight shot .. it gags them .. but over a period of time they can learn to handle it and it is not harsh. But Jan .. though I agree that To Each His Own (said the Old Man who kissed the cow) is right in line with my philosophy of stay clear of my Life, Liberty or Property, because I know you will not be offended I wanna say that I personally I think you are overdoing it with a 1/2 dropper any time ... much less daily. > > Funny - I put about 1/2 dropper in a glass of water every morning and > > can hardly taste it. I will say I don't like it in OJ, though.
