Thanks so much for your efforts, but so far no joy. The closest was the

*I can say it's not that. These flowers are more orange, they REALLY small

(like smaller than my pinkie)and they are blooming NOW. Oh and the area is

sandy and dry, not at all wet.

 

Butch, I've seen wild lilies and orchids, this beastie is not related.

Oh, and just a little comment on your post this morning, keep ranting, or

splaining etc. Your emails are often amusing, always informative, sometimes

inflammatory and never dull.
