Therapeutic in reference to an EO has no meaning...other than its a " good " EO by the seller's estimation... There are seller's I'd trust by their estimation... One of them yaks a lot on here, but he's wrong about which is the finest Bourbon whiskey...<G>...! But in dealing with that seller over a decade or so, if he says an EO is *good*....it is...*good*... He doesn't use the word " therapeutic " often...in fact never at all yakking with me... Just like there is *nothing* to the meaning of " certified aromatherapist " other than they've been to a particular school, that issues such proclamations when you complete their coursework.... In the USA.... Don't get me wrong...some of these schools are pretty good.... And then there's outfits that grant you that status, if you buy enough of their product...<G>... As far as using the word " therapeutic " in advertising....Being legal or not... Whatever law or ruling in effect at the moment has no bearing on what is happening in the marketplace... It's just a word, not as bad as when politicians talk, but approaching that status.... -- Gary W. Bourbonais L'Hermite Aromatique A.J.P.
