Guest guest
I find soy energizing powder works for me and my kids. I mix it with o.j. Or a milkshake. I get it at www.imhealthy-shaklee.com Good luck Laura <shaul_morgenstern wrote: Hi group & all! Is there a natural stimulant instead of Ritalin? I am an educator, and I find parents looking for solutions. Perhaps aromatherapy can do the same job as the pill (Ritalin). Or herbs? What do you suggest? shaul
Guest guest
I will leave the oils part to the knowledgeable members on this list. But ADHD happens to be a special interest of mine. It had not been invented yet (psychiatric conditions are literally voted into existence) when I was a child, long ago and far away, and life was generally less ADD-genic. But my son, who is a lot like me in many ways got an official diagnosis. If ADD exists, I probably have it. There is no single magic pill. This is a variation of the human condition. It is a puzzle with many pieces, and one of the more aggravating aspects of the ADD literature is that anyone who solves a part of the puzzle then claims to have fixed the whole thing. The phrase " ADD is nothing but " can have many endings, all with a grain of truth, none telling the whole story. For instance " boys being boys " , hypoglycemia, allergies, learning disabilities, sleep deprivation, and so on. I put 8 articles on it in the files of the group " Alternative Answers " also at . Unfortunately I cannot seem to edit them, the contact information is no longer valid, and I have not yet figured out how to get Open Office to work with Word files. The computer tells me that the clipboard will not accept Word files until I buy a copy of Office. I don't wanna! Anyway, see if there is anything useful in those articles.
