Guest guest
Okay, here's the thing. I published beadhussy. However. if one types http://www.beadhussy.com all one gets is blank pages. However if one types in http://beadhussy.com/jewelry.htm one can see the jewelry. IF one types in http://beadhussy.com all one gets is a blank page. Can someone check and see if this is true for YOUR computer or if it's just mine. Cuz I think I've done a bad bad thing only I don't know what it is. Guest guest
all I get is blank on both that you do. I did notice that the buttons that you should be able to choose to get home and navigate you can't push them to move off that page. What program are you using to create the website? --- On Wed, 9/23/09, Kathleen Petrides <Beadhussy wrote: Kathleen Petrides <Beadhussy Need some help please... Guest guest
Well. Ummm Do keep in mind that I'm a complete and utter moron, so some of this may sound completely stupid. But Basically what happened was that at somepoint in the past 3 or for days, My main website, which is aromatic sage, got pointed in another position on the name server. In other words, It's supposed to be pointing at (for example) Washington, but instead is pointing at Afghanistan. So, instead of peaceful trees, happy deer and lovely owls, I'm getting, warring signals, putzed up servers and a frozen web developing program that can't upload BECAUSE if your hosting site is pointing at Afghanistan instead of Washington State, NOTHING is going to happen. You can't upload anything to your site, and the stuff you do manage to upload goes to a different location that cannot be seen until you redirect from Afghanistan back to Washington state. Which can take up to 48 to happen, maximum 4 days. Minimum aprx 8 hours. Or, even more simply, Aliens hijacked my space ship and I ain't going anywhere until Buck Rogers returns it to me. Sigh. Hope you understood that, because I'm not sure I did. Although I did understand the Alien analogy. Guest guest
I might could help with the website. I'm a web designer and I have a bit of experience with hosting. Do you know your IP address for the hosting? If you do, you should be able to use it in your website editing program instead of the domain name. In other words, even though your domain name is off in la-la land, you can set your website editing program to the 'real' address, the ugly set of numbers, and get to it immediately. You won't even necessarily have to change it back after the domain is all fixed. Thanks, Stephanie http://www.stephanie-k.com
