Guest guest
I have been dealing with the local school district since the school year began on an Arkansas state law that says I have to get a tuberculosis skin test before I could be used as a substitute teacher. You have to have a negative result within the prior 90 days when you start with a new district. I presented the negative test I had two years back in another state, but they are going to go by the law, which does not list a waiver. Upon reading it though, it says I need to present a certificate of health stating I am free of tuberculosis. Does anyone have advice on how I could get a health professional to give me a certificate by just using observation techniques and asking questions on my health. I have not been placed in any risk that I know of and also am curious to hear of people who believe the skin test is a health risk.
