What percentage rate of dilution do ya'll use for thereputic effect when

blending for adults. And what makes the difference for you when you decide to

increase the percentage?

Hi Posey,

The percentage depends on the application.

 

If you are making a general massage blend for the body. No more than 3% is

recommended. But sometimes it might be closer to 2%.

 

If blending for use on the face only about a 1% or less blend should be used.

 

And if concentrating on One Muscle some massage therapists may increase the

blend to 5% to even 10% but this is a very, very rare situation and should be

avoided unless you are very welled trained in the use of essential oils.

 

To be on the safe side - use 2-3% for most massage blends.
