Guest guest
Dear Grandmother: My thoughts would be to use a vaporizer for the wee one that you have at your house & for all of the kids and adults taking care of them. Oils to help out would be: Carvacol rich Oregano, Ravintsara~a milder oil instead of Ravensara aromatica, Eucalyptus radiata~radiata does not have the cough reflex attributes as some of the eucalyptus oils, perhaps a Lavender camphor. In the past, I've always added a bit of Anise seed oil to my Wintertime oils as Anise seed has been used in the past with the H1N1 vaccine studies for Bird Flu strain. White Camphor is another one that can be added. Wintertime & vaporizers go together for all ages. Diffusing will work too, just make sure you have enough moisture in the air. Also, don't hesitate to use a bit of the oils on a Kleenex near the pillow or on the pillow if you do a stain test first. Pure oils should not leave a stain. Euca Radiata and Ravintsara or Ravensara a. are perfect to allow one a good nights sleep while working to clear the sinuses and help the respiratory tract to bounce back. Oregano will help with the bacteria and viral. Note: If you have Ravensara on hand, by all means use it when time is of the essence. Wishing you and your family lots of brighter healthy days, deb For adults I make combo inhalers, but vaporizing & diffusing works well.
