Guest guest
Greetings from a newbie.... I have been doing various things with incenses and essential oils for some time, and am aware that many customers for essential oils are using them to make cosmetics, or blends of massage oils, and the like. At same time, I have been making and distributing a medicinal pathogen-killer which requires that two liquids be mixed together at the time of use. Separate spray bottles of the the 2 chemicals can be used to spray a quantity of each onto the same place, where they will combine and interact. I have spent some time looking for a spray or dispenser bottle with 2 chambers but one plunger, which would combine the two liquids through a single outlet. I have found a number of such devices, with dials to vary the ratio of the A and B solutions. None of these are available at the retail level, and minimum wholesale orders are quite large. It occurred to me, however, that since one use of them is to combine through atomisation two immiscible liquids (one user makes a salad dressing dispenser of variable oil/vinegar ratio), perhaps such a dispenser would be practical for combining the kinds of ingredients with which massage oils, lotions and the like are made, and that if so, it might be practical to get together with a number of small-scale makers of such products to share a wholesale order of these dual dispensers. The key points seem to be: * Eliminating the need for an emulsifier,if the 2 liquids are sufficiently combined through atomisation. * Providing infinite variability of ratio, perhaps permitting the same dispenser to, for example, range from dispensing a refreshing lotion (H20+alcohol-based?) to a scented creamy lotion. Does anyone have any ideas about this possible route?
