Guest guest
Hi Gary, May best recommendation is to NOT do anything against the law. No beating, no poo moving and depositing on neighbors deck, etc. Realize the law is most likely on your side. Have you checked with the local law enforcement? There are usually ordinances for dogs AND Cats that are relieving themselves on the non-owners lawns. And today with digital cameras you can most likely " Catch him in the act " on your own property!! My first suggestion is above otherwise the next is to Barracade the area, fence it, put lawn ornaments anything to deter and keep the dog out of the area. Using chemicals is dangerous and can ruin your lawn. You don't want to get accused of poisoning his dog or other pets in the area. We don't want you fined or confined!! Have to say I have enjoyed reading this thread about what you should do, but in all reality, please seek help from your locate Humaine Society and Animal Control folks as they most likely know the law concerning this matter. If they don't find out who your your local Town Counsel person is and have them look into the matter. Your neighbor might just find himself working at the local Dog Pound cleaning up LOTS of DOO DOO!! Working in the veterinary field for 35 years does help when it comes to these types of situations!! ;-) Penny A Veterinary Technician for 35 years Now an Aromatherapist for 10 years+!!
