Hi Everyone;

I am new to this, so I am not sure exactly how to use this list yet, so

I just replied all. Sorry if this is incorrect!

I am trying to find information on burning essential oils and the

possible negative effects on pets, cats in particular.

Does anybody know if some essential oils are toxic to cats via

inhalation? If not, do you know where I could find this information? I

read that some are harmful and could tax their liver and I am very

worried about burning my EO candles that I make in the house.

Thanks for your help!

very short answer as I'm ready for a nap:

Yes oils are VERY bad news for cats. Check out

http://www.thelavendercat.comShe has a TON of stuff on that very

subject. Do read and please don't use

oils on cats in anyway shape or form. And if any one says " I use them all

the time and my cats are okay " , run a 2 second mile to get away from them

now.

Thanks, I will check it out. I don't " use " the oils on the cats, I burn

candles that have oils in them. That is what I am worried about -

inhalation of some of these oils. Thanks again!
