this is from the realm of raiding the kitchen for remedies: raw honey helps

fight infection + as with any sugar, it will give a lattice for new cells to

grow on. Also a carrot poultice is good for 1st degree burns -- no idea how it

would feel on something more serious

 

the problem with putting honey (or sugar) on wounds is that they tend to scar.
