Guest guest
Wish I could help. My experience is with roaches, some spiders, mice and moths. I wanted to use something more natural, because I have cats. I used to have a cat that got rid of our roaches, by eating them. So poisons were out of the question. She lived to be 16, with that strange habit. My theory is a cat's favorite herb is cat mint (aka catnip) and that mice might associate mints with cats. I really don't know if that's true. But,if rats are scared of cats in the same way. it might work, or at least help. If I find out more about repelling rats, I'll pass the info on. I currently see voles near my compost bin, and I have an occasional mouse in the house. Is there a problem using the compost if they've been in there?
