Guest guest
Howdy y'all, Gretta .. I agree with Marsha on the compost .. not harm since compost is going to change its chemical composition .. and who can say that there are not mouse droppings in a compost pile? I saw some questions on how to repel roaches. I do know that Catnip EO repels skeeters .. there is a ton of info on this on the Net .. plus .. http://www.av-at.com/catnip.html Does it repel roaches? I don't know .. we don't have any roaches on our little farm .. they are normally city dwellers .. so no personal testimonials from me. But .. we sell as much Catnip Essential Oil in the winter as we do in the summer so I am guessing that folks are using it for cockroaches. There is a lotta info on the net suggesting that it works. Below are but a very few of the articles I came across. http://www.ent.iastate.edu/dept/research/tox/catnip.html http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/1999/08/990827071500.htm http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/1999/08/24/breeds/main59665.shtml http://www.eartheasy.com/live_natpest_control.htm http://herselfshouseplants.com/2008/02/grow-catnip-indoors-to-keep-the-cockroach\ es-away.html http://gomestic.com/homemaking/how-to-eliminate-and-control-roaches/ http://www.mr-repellent.com/insect-repellent/cockroach-roach-repellent.html http://chemistry.about.com/b/2007/02/26/cockroach-catnip-science-fair-project.ht\ m http://www.safe2use.com/ca-ipm/0099-08-30a.htm Y'all have a good one .. and keep smiling. :-) Butch ... http://www.AV-AT.com
