I make bundles of about ¼ cup of the clove bud/peppercorn mixture and add a

cinnamon stick. Tie it up, hang it in a closet or put on a shelf and close

the doors. I replace at least once a year.

I used to make orange pomanders like my mom did at Xmas time. Tie a ribbon

around them or put on shelf and replace when they dried out. Those work

too.

We have lots of books they love to hide in, and most of the time they seem

to come in grocery bags that been stored too long in a warehouse or stock

stored to be put out for the next year’s season (like Xmas stuff that didn’t

sell from last year). I don’t know how you can protect yourself from that.

Anybody got any ideas on this?

If I see moths in a store, I leave. Same thing with mice or cockroaches.

Don’t want to chance taking it home with me. Thank goodness I don’t see it

often.

Gretta,

How do you use the mix with moth's when you already have an infection?

4 years ago, I had to stay in a nursing home for 3 months.

During that time moth made themselves home in my house.

I tried everything to entice them to leave, to no avail.

Finally, after years of diligently using sticky traps, they seem to have

gone.

I hope so, for I had to ditch many beloved sweaters.
