Recommendation for Inkjet Labels

Hi Evie,

I buy my labels from onlinelables.com. they have quality labels at very

competitive prices. if you buy the ones that have permanent adhesive, they

should stay put and the edges shouldn't lift.

My business is small, (but growing) and to save on material costs I've produced

my own product labels using Avery labels. I have to admit that they look great

and I've had many many compliments, but I notice that depending on the weather

the ends sometimes lift just a little on my lotion containers. I'm not at all

happy with that.

At this point, I don't want to spend thousands of dollars for a label

printer, and the cost of the labels that go with the printer. Do any of you

print your own labels using another brand of label that doesn't lift?? Would

appreciate any recommendations. Evie M.

Hi Evie,

We use a Primera Color LX400 Printer. The initial cost of the printer might

be prohibitive for you but once you have it and buy a few labels you can have

some really nice labels that won't peel off, won't bleed when wet and much more.

They have cheaper labels that will come off when they get wet but we are

slowly switching over to their Polyester gloss labels. You have to position

them just right or you can't get them off to restick, but hey, you want them to

stick!

You can find out more from Primera's website.

They make a larger model too but that is way to expensive for most folks

(including us).

Hope this helps - gives you another option. We print all our own labels and if

something should change on our labels (like country of origin) we don't have to

throw out a whole bunch of non-usable labels.
