Guest guest
Hi: A warmer is a dish that warms up a candle to a liquid so you can get the great smell from the oils or fragrance in it, and a diffuser is something that you actually put essential oils in and it diffuses the scent into the air. It is pretty close, except with the warmer you need a candle. Unless someone knows of a different kind of warmer! Kat What's the difference between a warmer and diffuser? How much do I use in each? Thanks, Jenifer

Depends...<G>..... Some folks will tell you a warmer (say with a tea candle) is a type of diffuser...The EO floats on water, and the candle warms the water to diffuse the EO or Essence... Some folks say this is not a true diffuser, but I can attest to the fact it works pretty well... Other types of diffusers atomize the EO or whatever thru means of a pump... A great diffuser is a strip of cloth with a couple drops of Essence in a air conditioning stream....... At work I used to use a tissue with essence on the top of a warm monitor... As far as whichever commercial one you use...they usually have general instructions, which you can modify to preference... -- Gary W. Bourbonais L'Hermite Aromatique A.J.P.
