Guest guest
Saw something odd on the net tonight in a post about pure oregano oil. Apparently someone gets mini barrels of pure oregano oil shipped to them directly from Turkey. They claim that the oil on top is crystal clear, but as oil is poured out over time the oregano oil will actually turn a darker orange color due to the oregano oil absorbing oxygen from the air. I thought this was odd, as I have a few kilos of pure OOO that are 1/4 to 1/2 full and they are the same clear color as the day I opened them 4 months ago. Any idea if this " turning a dark orange color " can happen to pure oregano oil, or is some other factor changing the color? Thanks!
