Guest guest
Hi Maree: Two different oils come to mind regarding anxiety. Actually, one would be a combo and the other one would need an accent oil to go with it. Notes become lost in salts, so I would not recommend salt as your base, unless you are going to use it right away in the bath. You would need fixatives etc., for a salt base, and I would think you would want as pure a product as possible for inhalation. Firstly, you can add oils to a pan of steam, hang a towel over your head and inhale for the most simplest way for inhalation. Secondly, you can use any of up-teen diffusers if you want to use the oils in a wide area of your house. Or you can use bamboo for non electric or candle use. Third: You can buy a blank inhaler and make it yourself. 1st combo of eo's would be Lavender & Lemon~Lavender is very calming and lemon is uplifting which will also keep the Lavender from being overpowering. The other one would be Spikenard~Nardostachys jatamansi which is used for meditation, deep breathing, and touted to be sedative. Since it may be sedative, you may want to add another oil to it. I haven't played around with it, so I'm not sure if Sandalwood, which is touted to be the best behind Lavender for calming~would work with it or not. Perhaps Lemon may work with it. Purists that are eco minded do not push Sandalwood due to sustainability, but an aged Australian Sandalwood may be a good replacement. These can be expensive oils, but the Spikenard came to mind first. BTW, I make inhalers, if you would like me to play around with the two, contact me direct. Do have all of those eo's on-hand. Best of luck to you with this, deb
