Guest guest
I like the site. The buttons are good - I would not change them. Easy to navigate. I do think that the site needs to liven up a bit. JMHO I did not go to all pages though. - " Kathleen Petrides " <Beadhussy Thursday, February 25, 2010 4:53 PM off topic: I won a free > online marketing course for jewelry. Guest guest
I like it! One thing I would change, though (besides the links for Jewelry and " Your Personal Info " that don't go anywhere), is that I would move Jewelry up to the top and your bios and articles down further. As a marketing student, I've learned that few people care who you are or what your story is...they're mostly interested in themselves and what you can do for them. Of course, there are others who would enjoy reading your stories (as I did) and are likely to be more loyal as a result of reading it, so I definitely would keep the bios, just further down. I would also refine the buttons you click on so they don't have the white square around them, if that's possible (the last one is actually slightly to the left too far). I also like your opening statement on the home page, but I would follow it with a statement of how your products are the perfect way to create that " joie de vivre " (a statement about how wonderful jewelry is, not just the color). Sorry if that's too much. I really do like the logo and the background...the page looks really nice! Just my two cents.
Guest guest
Thank you Lisa for the comments. One thing that has been definately pointed out is that those buttons have GOT to go. At least fixed. Thank you too for the ideas on switching them around and why. Makes sound sense. As for the opening statement... That is the beginning of an article on the color purple that will be written and moved eventually and replaced by something on our jewelry. I loved your comments, thank you so much. And thanks to all who replied off line. Your comments (especially about those dang buttons. ;-) ) have all been really helpful. Leanne and I so appreciate them. Guest guest
Thanks Kathy Liven up? We have some plans for it... Some ways in which the color purple is used or when not to use it... such as painting bedroom walls as psychologists says the color is too frenetic and can cause nightmares, or pagans use it for protection etc. We're also going to have a monthly newsletter with articles for women and what ever else we can think of. How does that sound? We don't want to put flash anything into it, that can annoy some folk, just an easy to navigate website. thanks so much for your comments, We surely do appreciate them.
