Guest guest
Those of you that are unfortunate enough to experience headaches know that there is no other pain like it. Migraines headaches are due to constriction or dilation of the blood vessels in the brain. Though a scientific cause is really unknown, stress is believed to be a major factor in people suffering migraines. This tea should help to relieve some of the symptoms associated with migraines. When you make the tea, you should make sure to be in a quiet area and find something external to help relax. (music, water fountain) Ingredients 1 tbsp Fenugreek (kills infection, antiseptic) 2 tbsp Thyme (Antiseptic and healing powers) 1 tbsp Feverfew (helps with blood vessel tone) 1 tsp Skullcap (sedative, nerve tonic, antispasmodic) Directions See my How to on how to make an infusion. Make an infusion of these herbs. You will most likely want to use honey to sweeten this, as Fenugreek is not the most pleasant tasting herb you will ever take. At the onset of a migraine, drink a cup of this tea, and then if symptoms persist, another every 2 hours.
