I recently started reviewing samples from a new certified organic Indian

producer, and I'm extremely pleased to be able to bring not only excellent

Peppermint: Mentha piperita Some of you might have been around long enough

to remember when 'Mitcham' peppermint was ***the*** aromatherapy standard

and the most sought after. We still carry it and it is wonderful, but it is

far pricier than other peppermints. Well, this new peppermint, not only CO,

is so powerfully minty and very, very close to the Mitcham in intensity and

clarity. When we decanted into smaller glass bottles for bulk storage, the

entire building was vibrating and everyone's hair stood on end. Well, maybe

I exaggerate just a bit. :-) It is divine and priced ridiculously low for a

certified organic product.

Cornmmint Mentha arvensa What can you say about cornmint? It's a nice,

inexpensive mint, especially for lotions or soaps. This one meets all of

our standards and is the first certified organic one I've found. Great

price in these uncertain times.

Lemongrass Cymbopogon citratus This lemongrass really surprized me, too.

It's lemony, but with a nice bright green note, making it really fresh and

vibrant. Again, certified organic and very good prices. I'm really happy

with this producer and looking forward to working with them more.
