I have these two, but not the German. for a hydrosol... Helichrysum hydrosol is far and away the most effective for rosacea.. for the essential oils, I'd not choose Neroli, it's not a particularly powerful anti-inflammatory... I'd use a blend of Helichrysum italicuum and German chamomile (either the CO2 extracted or the distilled oil.) We've had raves about a Rosacea cleanser and treatment gel we make with those ingredients... and about the use of Heli Hydrosol for it. Guest guest
Great info, thank you! I did read about Helichrysum as well, just doesn't seem to be very easy to get. Guest guest
My rosacea is flaring up at the moment. Red, itchy, swollen, uncomfortable. I have been using a mix of Tea Tree Oil, Lavender EO, and Almond oil as a carrier. It does seem to be healing it but it does not reducing the itching. Guest guest
I would LOVE heli oil but my goodness........the cost!!!!!! For that? I want to look 20 years younger by morning and NO scars . I want a nice oil that you can cleanse the skin with as well as feed and moisturize the skin. I'm also seeing conflicting ideas on Argan. I've seen its excellent for the skin and I have a nice agan oil similar to biosilk for the hair thats nice , but one site states 'if acne is an issue , argan is not recommended as it can clog pores'.......so is this a liquid wax? I had hoped to do a heli/carrot seed/ and maybe two more oils that would be light and affective. But no way can I afford heli. I did get an eo but it was not what I thought....it smelled like camphor and thats not going to be so nice for a facial oil. evie
Guest guest
As well as treating the skin, Rosacea needs to be approached from the inside. Get thee to the Dandelion patch and decongest the liver!
