It is a salt lamp with an open top and a little glass dish to hold aromatherapy oils. Hadn't seen it anywhere before but found the website for the parent company - Alohabay. It is called " Salt Aroma Lamp http://www.alohabay.com/products/saltlamps/salt_lamps.html Takes the oils a while to heat up and start diffusing but I really like the way it looks.
