I've sat in crowded Dr's offices all day just to see a > doctor and if they don't get to you, you go back the next day Hi I am new to this list and I have to jump in on this. I am from Germany, lived there for 39 years. I am not saying the German health care system is flawless. Gosh probably not even close. It's defnitely not free. AND I have never experienced overcrowded doctor's offices. You make an appointment and you usually get in on time, maybe a few minutes late. If you don't have an appointment you have to wait for a bit, but not longer than an hour or so, dependent on your condition. Health care is not bad there, you get what you need. Need a test you get it, need to go to the hospital you are in, don't have have much co pays. Get automatically annual blood screen if you want it. I don't know which country you are talking about, but not the German health care system. Just to clarify. Dagmar Lake
