Guest guest Posted March 26, 2010 Report Share Posted March 26, 2010 Mine has two holes, one in the bottom where the lightbulb goes in and another one on top with a little glass cup that sits over the lightbulb. If yours has a hole in the top, maybe a votive cup would fit. Since the lamp is salt, you could probably carve an opening if you needed to. It would probably have to go all the way to the bulb, the salt itself doesn't conduct heat very well. I wouldn't put the oils and/or water directly on the salt, it would probably dissolve it.
