Guest guest
where does it say it will be cheaper? - Victorianne Cain Thursday, March 25, 2010 4:25 PM OT: Health Care Bill i'm with Susan--i think this bill is long overdue. What is the big deal?? Why did no one complain when they passed a law mandating AUTO insurance?? i am one of the millions making minimum wage, and i cannot afford auto insurance, but i have to have it, so i have the State insurance, which is a little cheaper, but meets the minimum limits we must have. But we have no health insurance. i am thrilled that we finally will have a cheaper alternative for that, too, so that now i can (hopefully) get my life-long asthma under control. Thank you Obama and God bless you! Guest guest
I agree Dagmar, we have had the German health insurance for the last 27 years and I LOVE it! Wake up, USA, there are other ways to run health care that actually help people. Karen in France, right on the German border (we have BOTH french and german health insurance and use only the german since it is cheaper, no co-pays.) Guest guest
I have mixed feelings on this my son does not have insurance since he is not working he could not afford but he got hurt had to have emergency surgery since there are so many unemployed he could not even get emergency state aid; one of the providers I work for agreed to enter him into a program for those without insurance he had to pay based on his wife's income very reasonable amount. The first ER, MRI, labs were not included in that they turned those bills to collections after 30 days. My point is how many people does this happen to each bill that does not get paid causes medical costs to go up. If everyone can get health insurance for a reasonable cost more families will get care its being a responsible person and not expecting someone else to pay for your medical issues. There will be many changes done to this health care reform before it takes place but as a medical professional I do feel people need to have some sort of health insurance the US is the only country that does not make sure their citizens are covered I have had the health care in Canada and it was wonderful and the plan in Austrailia works wonderful also but change always causes ........ Guest guest
Give us the sections (or the title of the section) of the final bill so we may look this up ourselves. I’m looking at HR3590 (correct? I lose track of bill numbers) on Thomas.gov, pages make no sense, sections do. I will look there, rather cut down a tree (then I’d have the pages). Otherwise, I guess I’ll have to take this email as horse pucky, because I can’t research it myself. This obviously a translation (or re-translation) of the “legalese” that is in the bill.
